Drawing Materials

Hey guys.  Thought it would be helpful to post this.  During classes, sometimes I have to demo on how to sharpen
pencils.  Drawing is hard already, you don't want your materials working against you.

The General pencils are cheap and available pretty much anywhere.  The conte I have not seen except at Art Center.
It's a really nice pencil that feels like butter on the pad.  I use the Kimberly mostly when doing demos on pads. 

For the eternal sandpad.  Buy a piece of screen door at home depot, lowes, most hardware stores have them.
I stapled this one to an old sandpad that you buy at art stores.  You tear the sandpapers away until your left with the
back.  When you attach the screen door piece to it, you never need to buy sandpaper for sanding down your pencils
again.
