Would you care to elaborate maybe in comments or in a sketch w/ notes attached how it is you attack likeness? I have found quite a great deal of difficulty drawing eyes that look like my models/reference. I also have noticed that when sketching characters from my mind if I were to try and recreate the character I have difficulty replicating the eyes.
